Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Hey Folks! I want to thank everyone who bought, found, or borrowed an issue in 2012! There are some great articles in the hopper already for issues #5 and #6. (Both will drop before the spring of 2013). When I completed issue #4 there was more content then pages to publish on. This has allowed me to get a bit ahead of the print schedule...which is always a good place to be. Again thank you O humble reader of the Orchid! On behalf of the staff of Glass Orchid Merry Christmas and best wishes in the New Year. Cheers! Glass Orchid

Issue #4 is here!!

Hey Folks! Issue #4 is now available! This issue turned out unbelievably awesome! As you can see the cover is a throwback to EC Comics which were halted during the middle of the Eisenhower 50s due to censorship. Alvy Trout reviews the film Mystery Train, Memphis Jim serves up a blues rock guide, Glass Orchid uncovers a lost regional 60s artifact, and so much more!

First 50 copies will be hand numbered. There will also be a super limited autographed edition numbered to 10 signed by Glass Orchid, Memphis Jim, and Alvy Trout. Also check out the 3 ISSUE SUPER BUNDLE Issues #2,3,4! Save up to 27%!!! (depending on shipping location).(SORRY SOLD OUT!)

Issue #4 Coming soon!

Hey Folks! Hope everyone enjoyed issue #3 as much as we did making it! Here at GOHQ we are putting the finishing touches on a few stories and waiting for the last articles to come in for the next issue. Pre-Orders for Issue #4 will be available in a few weeks so keep your eyes peeled to the blog. If you still haven't gotten Issue #2 or #3 ordering info is listed below. We're down to our last copies of issue #2 so don't wait!

#4 has an awesome surprise that wasn't listed in the last issue. Midway through working on my blues pieces I got in contact with David DeTillo one half of David & Anthony. I've had the Walnut Street record in my collection for a few years now and listened to it frequently. It's an excellent piece of local music from the 60s. I hope everyone digs the interview! Below is the cover of the album.
